Just a couple of little sketchy things. I hadn't painted in a very long time and I keep wanting to take it up again. I think I'm going to try some oils as well over the next little bit. I'm a bit of a confused artist right now and I'm playing with a little bit of everything just to keep things rolling.

I like the second painting, it seems like a departure from your usual style. But I wonder if there isn't enough contrast in the background?

The painting was just something I did for the fun of painting. It's wasn't really a piece I did for any sort of portfolio development. :) I thought it would be fun just to post it on the blog.
